How to Use CoinCare

Simply place your coins into the top of the CoinCare base unit and CoinCare will do the rest. It exposes both sides of your coins to the UV-C light while sorting your coins by size. It then stacks them in a convenient, portable tray that makes your clean coins accesible no matter where you go. With multiple trays, your entire family can carry clean coins with them every day, reducing the spread of germs that can cause serious disease.

How UV-C Light Kills Germs

UV-C light kills germs by breaking down DNA. The specific spectrum of UV light we use is the most effective at breaking down cell structures. So effective in fact that it kills 99.9% of germs in the short time it takes CoinCare to sort your coins. Because UV-C light breaks down genetic material to be effective, CoinCare is made using UV resistant plastics, which protect you from the harmful rays the bulb uses to be tough on germs. Should your CoinCare unit ever break open allowing light to expose, you should contact us immediately so we can replace it with a new one.
